We spent Monday morning at the Cu Chi tunnels. Although I have been to the tunnels a couple of times, it always amazes that 16,000 Viet Cong actually lived underground. The tunnel we went through was widened for tourists, but it is still small enough that I bonked my head several times trying to make my way through in the dark. Sonja and I had a great time climbing through the tunnels, eating tapioca root, and hearing the Vietnamese perspective of the war.
